BHOPAL: A woman was shot by her relatives over a land dispute in Gwalior on Friday. Videos of the incident have gone viral on social media.
Police said one Chhatrapal Singh Baghel was having a dispute with his neighbour Bhikam Singh over construction of a house in Charai village (Mohana).
On Friday morning, Bhikam Singh along with seven people, started firing on Chhatrapal’s family while they were constructing a boundary. Chhatarpal’s wife Meena was hit. She sustained injuries on her back. The accused abducted Meena’s brother-in-law, threatening that he would be killed if a police complaint was lodged. Police have registered a case and are trying to arrest the accused.
