Bhopal: The ongoing suspense about the next Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh is likely to end on Monday. BJP's 163 newly elected MLAs will choose their leader in a meeting on Monday in the presence of central observers, according to a Party official.
The central observers for Madhya Pradesh are Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar; K Laxman, National President, OBC Morcha; and Asha Lakra, National Secretary.
In the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections were held on November 17, the results of which were declared last Sunday. The BJP won 163 of the 230 seats, while the Congress came second with 66 seats.
