Photos from the annual reunion of the 80s Bollywood stars have caught everyone’s attention on social media. After a long break owing to the COVID pandemic, the gala event took place in Mumbai this year. The last reunion had taken place in Hyderabad at Chiranjeevi’s residence.
The latest edition of the reunion was hosted by Poonam Dhillon and Jackie Shroff. Among the host of celebrities who graced the event, Madhoo Shah also made her presence felt. Although she didn’t belong to the 80s era, Shah along with Vidya Balan was invited as an exception.
In an interview with a news portal, the actress said that she has some really special friends, especially in the south, like Ramya, Khushbu and Radhika and she was thrilled to catch up with them. Madhoo also added that Ramya stayed with her for a couple of days while they were attending the reunion party and that she dropped her off at the airport yesterday. According to her, Ramya is truly her best mate in the industry. Every time she goes to the south, they hang out and meet. For her, the reunion was an extension of that with more actors.
Spilling some beans on her relationship with Jackie Shroff, Madhoo stated that she has known him for so many years. They appeared in two to three films together in the 1990s.According to her, he is a darling. Madhoo added that she felt amazing that she belonged to this fraternity.
When asked if she believed that friendships fizzle out in show business every Friday, Madhoo said that she believed that the reunion has been successfully taking place for the past many years. According to her, the actors really like each other and share a really lovely camaraderie. The actress added that she loves to hang out with them, including the ones she has worked with in the past or have known. There’s something very special about a room full of actors, she told News18.
Sharing some details about the lovely evening, Madhoo revealed that they just hung out with each other, played games and engaged in musical sessions.
