Emilia Clarke brought a little bit of Westeros to the 2026 Emmy Awards when she reunited with fellow Targaryen Emma D'Arcy for an unexpected High Valyrian exchange.
Clarke, who famously played Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, joined D'Arcy, who portrays Daenerys' ancestor Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon, on stage during the ceremony. The pair were there to present the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, but their appearance quickly turned into a celebration of the franchise's Targaryen legacy.
