French President Emmanuel Macron concluded his tour of the Notre-Dame Cathedral by inspecting the grand organ, a significant symbol of the cathedral's restoration efforts. The grand organ, measuring an impressive 12 meters wide and 10 meters tall, boasts over 8,000 pipes and 115 stops.
Although the organ miraculously escaped the devastating fire that engulfed the cathedral, it did suffer damage from lead dust released during the blaze. The Elysee Palace emphasized the importance of restoring the organ, referring to it as the 'return of its voice.'
