French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday called for Europe to become one of the world’s leading space powers, with its first crewed flights within 10 years and its own satellite-based communications capabilities.
“Europe must be among the very first global players [in space], particularly in communications and AI,” he said at an international space summit in Paris.
