Macron calls for anti-IS group international coalition to fight Hamas

French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday called for Gaza militants Hamas to be added to the targets of an international coalition against the Islamic State (IS) group while on a solidarity visit to Israel after the October 7 attacks. 

Macron gave no detail on how the US-led coalition of dozens of countries, of which Israel is not a member, could be involved.
