Netflix has finally revealed the trailer for its highly-anticipated adaptation of "Cien Años de Soledad" (100 Years of Solitude), the beloved Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel published in 1967.
The preview introduces us to Colonel Aureliano Buendía, played by Claudio Cataño in his adult version, as he stands before the firing squad and the famous first words of the novel are uttered: "many years later, as he faced the firing squad, Colonel Aureliano Buendía was to remember that distant afternoon when his father took him to discover ice." The clip then transitions as his mind soars and Aureliano witnesses the odyssey of his ancestors until they reach the mythical Macondo.
