Machine Gun Kelly has said he doesn't want to grow up and claims to be a "broken boy" with Peter Pan syndrome.
The 32-year-old rapper is set to star in the upcoming film Taurus, in which he plays a rising but self-destructive musician called Cole. Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, will appear alongside his fiancée Megan Fox, Ruby Rose and Maddie Hasson.
The musician said he finds it easy to identify with "lost boy" Cole and said 36-year-old Megan is his Wendy.
"[Illana] understands that [Cole] was just a broken boy who has Peter Pan syndrome — which is me.
"You don't want to grow up. You know what I mean?
"You're a lost boy, but you have Wendy, and Wendy doesn't want to be with the lost boy, but she's like, 'Come back home and be a grownup with me.' And you watch Peter Pan have the choice," MGK said in an interview with Hollywood Reporter's Awards Chatter podcast.
Peter Pan syndrome is used to describe people who have difficulty growing up.
They may find it hard to manage adult responsibilities, such as maintaining a job and healthy relationships.
During the interview Kelly was also asked who his Wendy is, as he replied: "Must I say," while referring to his fiancée.
Megan recently shared a dark love note to Machine Gun Kelly, as she asked him to "kill me or get me pregnant".
After Kelly had shared a series of pictures of himself on Instagram, a clearly besotted Megan responded by listing what she thinks are some of his best qualities in the comments.
"Never has anyone with better bone structure walked this earth," she gushed. "Exquisitely, devastatingly handsome. And 6 foot 5?
"Kill me or get me pregnant. Those are the only options."
Fans were disturbed by the actress' public adoration and replied with shock in the comments.
"How awkward how many times she said something like that in public. Must be desperate like hell as everyone is witnessing with her transformation. Cheap, silly and desperate," slammed one.
"Colson run!" another joked.
