Emergency services are at the scene of a horror crash on the M80.
Police have shut down a section of the motorway near Castlecary after being called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash at around 1.35pm this afternoon.
Eyewitnesses have told the Daily Record 'trauma teams' are at the scene, while a passerby described the incident as a 'bad accident'.
Police have confirmed they are in attendance but have not issued any further details of the crash at this moment.

Traffic Scotland's latest update advises the motorway has been closed northbound at junction seven, and closed southbound at junction six, to junction 6a.
Drivers are urged to approach with care, with traffic being reported as "very heavy" in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.35pm on Saturday, 5 February, officers were called to the M80 near junction 7, following a report of a one-vehicle crash.
"Emergency services remain at the scene."
