A woman was taken to hospital following a two car crash near to Glasgow Airport.
The smash took place around 1pm yesterday afternoon, sparking a warning to drivers on the M8 motorway to approach the area with caution.
Police were called to assist at the scene on the motorway near to Junction 28 (Airport Interchange) after receiving reports of the road traffic collision.

They confirmed that one woman was taken to hospital "as a precaution" following the arrival of ambulance crews, while recovery was arranged for a vehicle involved in the collision.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 1pm on Monday, 9 May, police were called to the M8 near junction 28, following a report of a two-vehicle road crash.
"One woman was taken to hospital as a precaution and recovery has been arranged.”
