Drivers were looking at huge delays on Tuesday evening after a collision on the M8 involving three cars.
The incident saw the eastbound section closed off on the approach to Hermiston Gait, with up to 30 minutes of delays expected. Just after 4.45pm, police were made aware of the incident.
All three vehicles have been recovered, though it is currently unknown if there have been any casualties or injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving three cars on the M8 eastbound near Junction One in Edinburgh shortly after 4.45pm on Tuesday, 27 June.
“Emergency services attended and recovery was arranged for the vehicles.”
Traffic Scotland added: "The M8 remains closed Eastbound on the approach to Hermiston due to a collision
"Approx. 30 minute delay on the approach."
