Motorists are facing huge rush hour delays after a Morrisons lorry caught fire on the M62.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue and Service rushed to the eastbound carriageway of the M62 between junctions 11 (Birchwood) and 12 (Eccles) at around 4pm on Monday, April 25. Once at the scene firefighters found a Morrisons lorry well alight.
Several fire engines were pictured at the scene of the incident as well as Lancashire and Cheshire Police, vehicles and an ambulance. Police have confirmed no injuries were reported.

Footage taken by a passer-by shows fire crews using a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and lots of smoke coming from the lorry's cab and trailer. According to the AA traffic is queuing for miles from junction 12 back to the Croft Interchange.
Two lanes of traffic were re-opened by officers at around 5.30pm, but traffic is still struggling.
