The M6, M53 and M56 will close over the coming week.
Motorways in Merseyside will see closures this week (Monday, May 1 - Sunday, May 7) as National Highways continue to repair the region's roads. This week there will be no weekend closures, but the M53 and M56 will be partially closed on bank holiday Monday (May 1).

Monday, May 1
The M53 northbound between junctions five (Hooton) and eight (Rossmore Road) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and eight (Rossmore Road) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 12 (Rocksavage) and 15 (Stoak) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
Tuesday, May 2
The M6 northbound between junctions 21 (Woolston) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21 (Woolston) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions five (Hooton) and eight (Rossmore Road) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and eight (Rossmore Road) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 12 (Rocksavage) and 15 (Stoak) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 14 (Elton) and 15 (Stoak) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
Wednesday, May 3
The M6 northbound between junctions 21 (Woolston) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21 (Woolston) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions five (Hooton) and eight (Rossmore Road) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions four (Clatterbridge) and eight (Rossmore Road) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 12 (Rocksavage) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
Thursday, May 4
The M6 northbound between junctions 23 (Haydock) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21 (Woolston) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions two (Upton) and four (Clatterbridge) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions two (Upton) and four (Clatterbridge) will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 5am.
Friday, May 5
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 (Lymm) and 21 (Woolston) will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
Saturday, May 6
