Parts of the M6, M53, and M56 will close over the coming week.
Motorways in Merseyside will see closures this week (Monday, April 10 - Sunday, April 16) as National Highways continue to repair the region's roads. This week there will be one weekend closure on the M56 east and westbound between junctions 11 and 14 , according to the Highways travel planning website.
Sections of the M6 will also be closed overnight from Monday through until Friday.

Here are the motorway closures you can expect in Merseyside this week. This list is subject to changes from National Highways.
Monday, April 10
The M6 northbound between junctions 23 and 26 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
Tuesday, April 11
The M6 northbound between junctions 23 and 26 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
One lane of traffic on the M53 will be closed northbound between junctions three and five between 9pm and 5am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 and 14 will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 12 and 14 will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 5am.
Wednesday, April 12
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 and 14 will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 12 and 14 will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 5am.
Thursday, April 13
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 and 14 will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 12 and 14 will have two lanes closed between 9pm and 5am.
Friday, April 14
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 and 21 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 and 14 will be closed between 9pm and 5am.

Saturday, April 15
