A Dublin motorist had a lucky escape after their car crashed through the M50 median.
The single car collision occurred around 8am on Saturday, near the Cherrywood junction of the M50 heading soutbound.
Emergency services rushed to the scene to attend to the driver where, thankfully, they escaped serious harm.
A garda spokesman said: "Gardai attended a single car collision on the M50 near J16 shortly before 8am this morning.
"The scene has since been cleared. There was no reports of any serious injuries."
M50 Dublin tweeted: "All lanes have reopened S'bound at Junction 16 Cherrywood following an earlier collision where a car left the road and got stuck in the central median.
"Thankfully there were no serious injuries."
