There are major delays on the M50 this evening with emergency services and gardai rushing to the scene of a crash.
The incident occurred on the M50 southbound at the Red Cow, Junction 9, and has caused havoc for commuters.
Officers say there have been no reports of injuries at this point and that the road has been cleared this evening - however, traffic jams are still being seen.

Motorists are being advised to expect delays on the route as a result and should take alternate roads to their destinations where possible.
Earlier this afternoon, LiveDrive warned: "There is a collision on the M50 southbound approaching J9 (Red Cow), blocking lanes 2 and 3. Expect delays."
In a statement, a garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single-vehicle road traffic incident on the M50 southbound near Junction 9 today 3rd of October 2022 at approximately 4pm.
“There are no reports of injuries at this time. The road has been cleared but motorists can expect delays as traffic remains very heavy in the area.”
