A woman has been charged following a four-vehicle crash on the M5 earlier this week. Tanya Andrande Dos Reis, of Hale Lane, Painswick, has been charged with one count of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level is above the limit.
The police were called to the crash between junction 19 for Portishead and junction 20 for Clevedon at around 7.10pm on Wednesday (October 5). The 29-year-old was arrested at the scene and will now appear at North Somerset Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 25.
Avon and Somerset Police said: "A 29-year-old woman has been charged with one count of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level is above the limit.

"Tanya Andrande Dos Reis, of Hale Lane, Painswick, will next appear at North Somerset Magistrates Court on Tuesday 25 October."
