M2 incidents cause traffic backlog as motorists escape 'serious injury' after car fire and crash

Motorists faced significant delays on Tuesday morning following two separate incidents on the M2 motorway outside Antrim.

Emergency services including the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and the Ambulance Service attended the scene of the vehicle blaze and a crash close to Rathbeg.

The PSNI confirmed the incidents have since been cleared.
