M&S to close stores on Boxing Day - but shops will open for longer in run up to Christmas

Marks and Spencer

Marks and Spencer will close its stores on Boxing Day so its staff can spend more time with family and friends this Christmas.

The posh supermarket has also extended its opening hours in the run up to Christmas.

M&S has confirmed 300 of its stores will open until 11pm from 19 to 23 December this year.
