M&S shoppers vow to 'ditch Chinese takeaways' for a meal costing £5.50

Shoppers looking to treat themselves while sticking to a budget have been so blown away by an M&S meal they say is better than a takeaway.

With the cost of living forcing many households to count literally every penny, indulging in a weekly Chinese takeaway might not be as affordable as it used to be. But it looks like you don't have to miss out on your weekly treat as you can pick one up from the shops that is just as good.

The Mirror reports that Marks and Spencer has launched the Chinese Takeaway Year of the Rabbit box for two to celebrate the Chinese New Year that is priced at just £11, which works out to £5.50 per portion.
