Marks and Spencer shoppers have fallen for a "lovely" midi smock dress after spotting it online.
Iconic British retailer M&S, founded in 1884, remains a firm favourite feature on the high street, thanks to its extensive array of stylish clothing, accessories, homeware, beauty supplies, furniture and more.
Like many of its competitors, the popular retailer utilises social media to keep shoppers updated on all the newest stock and product drops.

M&S has amassed millions of followers across its Instagram pages, while many of its staff members also manage Instagram pages of their own. Branded 'M&S insiders' on the hit social media platform, they share styling tips and advice, as well as outfit ideas to offer inspiration to shoppers.
Recently, 'M&S insider' Sam Briones caused a stir among her 24.5K Instagram followers after sharing an Instagram Reels video showcasing the retailer's Floral Square Neck Midi Smock Dress, which costs £45.
The dress comes in a regular fit in a mix of vibrant blue shades, ideal for the warmer weather. It features a square neckline and short sleeves, with all-over smock detailing. It can be purchased here.
Smock dresses remain popular among fashion lovers, especially now the summer season is here. A range of retailers offer a variety of options, also in blue. Captioning the footage of the Marks and Spencer dress on Instagram, Sam said: "Take me to the sunshine in this stand out dress. It's the colours of this one that caught my eye and it's lovely and light for those brighter days!"
The outfit proved popular among social-media-using fashion lovers, racking up more than 13K views, and hundreds of likes. Shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.
