M&S Bank Arena has announced it’s been forced to postpone A-ha’s upcoming Liverpool show.
The band were due to play at the arena on Wednesday evening but have had to postpone the performance. The announcement on M&S Bank Arena ’s Twitter on Monday afternoon said: “A-ha, originally due to take place on 25 May 2022, has been postponed due to illness. The new date for the show is to be confirmed. Tickets will remain valid for the new date once confirmed.”
According to the M&S Bank Arena website, it’s singer Morten Harket who’s feeling unwell. The band have also cancelled their show at Bournemouth BIC tonight, Tuesday May 24, but the performances at London’s Wembley OVO Arena and Birmingham Utilita Arena this Friday and Saturday are expected to go ahead.

In the statement, A-ha commented: “We hate to disappoint even more fans with more postponements, but there is unfortunately nothing we can do but wait for Morten to get better and keep our fingers crossed for the show in London and Birmingham. Stay safe in the meantime, everyone!”
All tickets for the cancelled A-ha show will remain valid for the new date once it has been announced.
