M&S and Tesco launch school uniform sales ahead of September

The school year hasn't quite finished yet, but a number of retail giants are getting in early with their uniform sales ahead of September.

Parents shopping both online or in Marks and Spencer stores can get 20% off school uniform while stocks last. No voucher is needed as the 20% discount is automatically applied, Nottinghamshire Live reports.

There is also a free Click and Collect option, with home deliveries priced at £3.50 - or free if you spend more than £50. Polo shirts start at £2.40 with sweatshirts from £4.80, and trousers and skirts from £5.60.

School shirts, which come in packs of two, start at £6.40. Prices change depending on size and the offer excludes footwear, underwear, outerwear, hosiery, accessories, school bags and lunch boxes.

Tesco is also now selling uniforms from children going to primary through to secondary schools. Each garment comes with the retailer's new one-year guarantee, and this includes shoes.

Two-packs of trousers, available in black, grey, or navy, start at £7, while three-packs of long or short sleeved shirts are available from £6.50. Skirts start from £3.50 each (in two-packs for £7), while jumpers cost from £8.
