Dawn French returns as Fairy for this year's M&S' Christmas advert - this time joined by her comic partner Jennifer Saunders.
Jennifer, the other half of the French & Saunders double act with Vicar of Dibley star Dawn, takes up the role of Duckie, a much-loved and well-worn dog chew toy in this year's M&S Food advert.
The eight-advert campaign goes live today, with just under two months to go until Christmas.

They begin with Dawn's Christmas Fairy leaving her perch on top of a Christmas tree as she looks for a new "very special friend". After heading to the family dog Wylie;'s basket, she brings Duckie the dog toy to life
Dawn, who starred in M&S 2021 advert too, said: says: "To have my right-hand-woman back as that sidekick… well, obviously it was a yes with festive bells on from me.”
A new advert will be added each week between now and New Year's Eve.
Jennifer added: “When the call came in asking me to be in the M&S Christmas ad, I didn’t have to think about it. And to bring the team back together for it? It was a Christmas must."
