M&D’s has re-introduced wristbands for visitors looking to make the most of days out this summer at Scotland’s Theme Park.
The move comes having listened to customers who have requested the return of the M&Ds wristband option which provides unlimited access on rides.
Three wristband options have been introduced to provide people with us much choice as possible.
Buying options include: an off peak wristband, valid from 10.30am until 2pm, at £14.95 per person; a peak wristband, valid from 2.30pm until 6pm, costing £19.95; and an all day wristband, valid from 10.30am until 6pm, at £29.95 per person.
The wristbands must be booked online 24 hours in advance of visiting and are not available to buy on site on the day.
In addition, free wristbands are available to carers visiting the Theme Park with a paying customer on presentation of their ID card.
Jensen Taylor from M&D's told Lanarkshire Live : “We’ve listened to customers and appreciate this summer, in particular, that value for money is crucial for families on days out, and we have gone a step further by introducing three different options to try and suit everyone.
“However, we’re also continuing to offer our Fun Points system as for many people this might be the preferred option. To maximise value for those customers, we’ve also doubled the number of Bonus Fun Points people receive free of charge with every purchase. These free Bonus Fun Points are only available 24hours in advance online. Free Bonus Fun Points will not be available on site.
“We want people to have a great summer and this, along with our free weekend Pirate themed activities will ensure just that.”
Both wristbands and Fun Points (with the additional free bonus Fun Points) must be purchased online, 24 hours in advance. If you buy £10 Fun Points you will receive £5 Bonus Points free or purchase £20 and receive £10 Bonus Fun Points free. Wristbands are for outside rides only and cannot be used on coin operated prize-winning games and specialist rides.
Each weekend there will also be special offers, which can be purchased online in advance, such as buy one ticket at Devil’s Island Golf and a friend goes free, and free pirate treasure for every child bowling at Cosmic Bowl (available August 6 and 7).
Visitors will also be able to enjoy the pirate themed rides including Captain’s Curse, the Dancing Galleons, Rip Tide, the Pirate Train as well as a new attraction, Walk The Plank Sky Trail, a 30 ft hight aerial adventure which launches soon.
There will even be a Pirate Island Cove where you can dig for treasure in search of special pirate coins and choose some booty from the pirate treasure chest.
Visitors can find out each weekend’s entertainment by heading online.
