Lyle Taylor reveals going through the "hardest" year of his life after being left out of Nottingham Forest's options this season.
Taylor returned to Forest at the end of last season following a brief loan stint with Birmingham City. He played 14 games for Blues and scored five goals under then manager Lee Bowyer.
Although he wasn't part of Steve Cooper's plans ahead of the current season, Taylor wasn't able to secure a permanent switch away from Forest in the summer. He is set to become a free agent this summer however, and is likely to have clubs battle for his signature.

Whilst celebrating his birthday on Wednesday, the striker took to Instagram to reflect on this past year. He wrote: "So as the sun rises on my 33rd birthday, it’s time to look back first and forward last.
"This has been, by far, the hardest year of my life! So many battles won and lost. So many lows, so few highs. But, as I always said…
"No f***** is gonna beat me! So here’s to the stubborn b****** born on a Thursday 33 years ago that is me! And to those who have been along for the ride, I love you all!"
