Former TOWIE star Lydia Bright has shared her 'heartbreak' while reflecting how sad she felt when she was pregnant for the first time while also being single.
The reality TV favourite, 32, welcomed daughter Loretta Rose three years ago with ex-boyfriend Lee Cronin, with the pair continuing to co-parent their youngster after calling it quits on their romance when Lydia was just 11 weeks pregnant.
Opening up about how heartbroken she felt at the time, Lydia told Kate Ferdinand on her Blended Podcast that she had a very difficult time dealing with the fact that she was pregnant and single at the same time.
Recalling how hard things got for her, Lydia broke down in tears as she discussed her pregnancy.
"Doing pregnancy alone was really tough," she said. "It was a very emotional time when I was pregnant because I was scared."
Lydia then apologised to Kate, admitting that she felt as though she could cry
"Sorry, I don't want to get emotional," Lydia apologised. "I never set out to do it by myself though. I remember being heartbroken. I was nervous, I was heartbroken."
Lydia is already thinking about welcoming a sibling for her Loretta - and she doesn't mind undergoing the journey by herself.
She recently told Closer: "I really want more children, probably three, whether that be by meeting someone or doing it by myself."
Lydia's honest confession comes after her daughter Loretta was rushed to hospital after suffering a fall last month.
At the time, Lydia took to her Instagram Stories to share an update with fans as she discussed the difficulties she had faced.
She explained that while her young daughter was climbing, she had hit her head and was rushed to A&E to be looked at by medical staff.
"I still want to cry when I think about it now," she said. "Thankfully no stitches but she had to have the wound cleaned and glued."
