Historic furniture and interiors retailer Arighi Bianchi has returned to the black for the first time since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been revealed.
The company, which has counted the British Royal Family among its customers, has posted a pre-tax profit of £350,688 for the 12 months to June 30, 2022.
It comes after the business made a pre-tax loss of £119,315 in the prior year and £601,138 in 2020.

Arighi Bianchi was last in the black in 2019 when it reported a pre-tax profit of £261,630.
With a heritage that dates back to 1854, Arighi Bianchi - famed for its iconic grade II-listed building in Macclesfield - is one of the longest running family-owned furniture businesses in the UK.
The company sells a range of contemporary furniture and accessories for the home, as well as carpets, flooring, blinds, curtains and fitted kitchens through its Kitchenality concession.
According to the newly-filed documents with Companies House, the firm's turnover also increased from £15.1m to £17.2m in the year. The total is also its highest since 2019.
A statement signed off by the board said: "The directors report it has been a much better year from the previous year.
"Turnover has increased by 14%; online sales have taken a dip from last year but have again increased year on year since pre-Covid times when the store was closed for four months.
"We have increased group profit by £400,000 from last year, paid back our CBILS loan during the period and we have started the 2022-23 financial year on a strong positive footing."
It added: "With our good product mix and large product range, we are confident we can push forward and deliver continued sound financial performance and continue to grow our market share."
