Sunderland need only avoid defeat at Luton tonight to secure their place in the Championship play-off final.
Amad Diallo’s superb strike at the Stadium of Light bagged a vital comeback for the Black Cats in the first leg on Wearside after Luton had taken an early lead.
The Hatters fell at this stage last season but at least have home advantage, and Kenilworth Road will be rocking with the knowledge that a victory by two goals will send them to Wembley for a meeting with Middlesbrough or Coventry.
It could also be a long night however, with a one-goal Luton win sending the tie to extra-time and potentially penalties.
For two clubs who have dragged themselves out of the lower leagues to knock on the door of the top flight, this is the mother of all games.
