Canadian athletic apparel brand Lululemon has announced plans to relocate its Covent Garden store to a new, larger retail unit within The Yards development. The new store, set to open in summer 2024, will be situated in a prominent 8,364 square foot corner unit on Long Acre, representing a significant 130 percent increase in size compared to its current location.
The expanded store will showcase Lululemon's extensive range of activewear products catering to various activities such as yoga, running, and training. Customers can expect to find a wide selection of items from the brand's womenswear, menswear, footwear, and accessories lines.
The Yards, which encompasses St Martin's Courtyard, Mercer Walk, and Old Brewer's Yard, boasts a diverse lineup of sportswear brands like Pineapple, Snow+Rock, and Runners Need. Additionally, the area features premium fashion brands on Long Acre, including Levi’s and Reiss, creating a vibrant shopping destination for visitors.
Representatives from Longmartin Properties Ltd, a joint venture between Shaftesbury Capital and the Mercers’ Company, expressed enthusiasm about Lululemon's decision to relocate within The Yards. They highlighted the move as a significant milestone that reinforces The Yards as a preferred destination for both established international brands and emerging concepts.
