Music legend Lulu has found herself at the centre of a Masked Singer voting row as many viewers were left viewing at her early exit as Piece of Cake on Saturday night.
Many big names have taken part in The Masked Singer so far, including winners to date Nicola Roberts, Joss Stone and Natalie Imbruglia and other stars like Katherine Jenkins, Jake Shears, CeeLo Green, Kelis and Charlotte Chruch all getting into disguise for the ITV show.
The new series started last week, pulling in close to four million viewers on New Year's Day and, on Saturday night, it was time for six more characters to make their Masked Singer debut, in three different battles. The third and final one saw Piece of Cake face-off against Rhino and, it didn't take long for many people watching at home to be sure it was Lulu behind the mask, largely due to her distinctive vocals on her cover of Ed Sheeran's Shivers and her speaking voice, with her height also leading viewers down that route.

And those who guessed at Lulu proved to be spot on as, after the panel - Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora and Mo Gilligan - decided to keep Jacket Potato and Rubbish over Piece of Cake, the Shout singer removed her mask to reveal herself, after Jonathan predicted it might be her with a last ditch guess.
Lulu seemed slightly overwhelmed, saying: "Well I'm slightly in shock. I'm in and now I'm off!" Plenty of fans shared in her surprise at being kicked off so early, with many condemning the panel for making the 'wrong decision on Twitter. One fumed: "what the hell... Kick off Lulu but keep rubbish... Panel are idiots," and a second tweeted: "How the f*** have they got rid of Lulu and kept Rubbish, who was garbage!"
A third complained: "Worst decision ever by the panel #TheMaskedSinger @MaskedSingerUK to put rubbish and jacket potato through over piece of cake! Lulu is a legend!"
