Notts County manager Luke Williams has said he is confident that Ruben Rodrigues will remain at Meadow Lane this season as interest in the 25-year-old intensifies.
The Magpies reportedly received a bid from League One side Peterborough United for the services of the Portuguese midfielder, sparking rumours before their fixture against Halifax Town last weekend before it being revealed he missed the game through illness.
And on his return to the side this afternoon, Rodrigues showed why interest is so high in acquiring his signature, producing a brilliant display in their 1-0 win over Solihull Moors.

There was a number of standout performances, but Rodrigues' will be the one catching the eyes of teams in the divisions above.
And with the deadline for transfers in the EFL shutting in just three days, many Notts fans face a nervy wait to see whether they can keep hold of their prized possession.
But speaking on the bid, Williams explained that obvious speculation is going to surround a player of Rodrigues' quality, but is confident he will remain at Meadow Lane this season.
"Yeah like I said, I have not heard anything but he is an unbelievable player," explained Williams.
"There is obviously going to be so much speculation around because he is so good at football, but at the moment he is going to be here with us, we don't have anything on the table from anyone.
"Nothing is advanced or serious and I don't see any reason why he would not be with us."
In addition to the transfer window shutting on Thursday, Williams will have time to look and assess his squad before looking at any potential loan signings to bolster his options going forward.
But the Notts boss was clear that he was not after just any signings, insisting it would be disrespectful to bring just anyone into the fold.
"If you look at the guys and how they played today, following a tough game away from home, we underestimated how good the opposition were at Halifax and how difficult it was to play in those conditions.
"The guys won that game and have won again today against a very good opposition, but players in they have to be value for it.
"To bring someone into this team is not top, top quality would be disrespectful the guys that are working so hard."
One of the standout performances on the day was that of Geraldo Bajrami, operating slightly further forward in midfield and putting in a determined, yet composed performance alongside Matty Palmer.
And speaking after the game, Williams labelled the 22-year-old a "beast" following his performance.
"He's a beast and it was something we needed to add to our arsenal today and to have a guy who is a destroyer, but also has that quality on the ball.
"Sometimes we need to remind him to stay focused to not neglect a pass or fail to track back, maybe he was guilty of that at times today.
"He's been working and working and I thought today was proof of that hard work that he's done."
