Luke Williams has emphasised the importance of his Notts County side maintaining their incredible away form ahead of three more games on the road in January.
The Magpies kickstarted the new year with a disappointing 2-2 draw away to Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park, extending their unbeaten run in the National League to 16 games as another record is within their sights.
In what has been a stark contrast to their away record at this point last campaign, Williams' side have taken 28 points from their 13 away games this season, compared to just 19 under Ian Burchnall.

But along with the points, have come goals. At this stage last season, Notts had managed just 19 goals on their travels, compared to 39 they have scored already this campaign.
However, in recent weeks the Magpies' vulnerability away from Meadow Lane has come to light, conceding six goals in their last three games with many of those being placed in the "avoidable" category.
Having only conceded 19 goals for the entirety of the season away from home, many are predicting the next month as crucial to the final standings in April.
And speaking after their New Year's Day draw, the Notts boss was quick to highlight the importance of his sides away form over the next month, using one word to describe how his side must play during January.
"We are going to have to be incredible, there is no other way for us," explained Williams.
"We will have to win games home and more importantly away, there is going to be no let-up and we know that."
With Wrexham winning at Solihull Moors on Monday afternoon, the gap at the top of the table has been cut to just two points with Phil Parkinson's side having played a game less than the Magpies.
That game in hand however comes against Chesterfield who have enjoyed a recent run of results, winning three games on the bounce in the league, with six points coming from their festive double-header with strugglers Scunthorpe.
And the Spireites welcome Notts to the Technique Stadium on January 21 (5:20 pm), with Williams' side having already played Aldershot and Oldham away before travelling to Damson Park to take on Solihull Moors three days later.
There have already been plenty of memorable away days this season, and Williams will be hoping to provide three more this month.
