Luke Ayling reckons Leeds United's set-piece woes were just one of the factors that hinder his side in their 4-0 defeat against Manchester City. The Whites conceded a Rodri header from a Phil Foden free-kick in the first half as well as a bundled strike from Nathan Ake past Illan Meslier in the second half from a set-piece.
Defending from set-pieces has been something of an issue for Leeds this season, with it costing them their footing in the game against City. Leeds had managed to cause City some issues at the back and certainly looked to take the game to their opponents within reason.
And speaking to Sky Sports following the 4-0 defeat, Ayling believes the two set-pieces Leeds conceded damaged his side's chances of taking something more from the game.
