Luke Ayling admitted that Raul Jiminez's sending off changed the game as Leeds United completed a memorable comeback at Molineux. The Whites came from 2-0 down to secure a vital three points in the fight against relegation to move seven points clear of the drop zone.
It's now back to back wins for Jesse Marsch's side, which gives the Whites a cushion to the bottom three. They know that sides below them have games in hand, but confidence is growing at Elland Road.
Ayling's injury time winner sparked pandemonium in the away end, and speaking to Sky Sports, the Whites defender said: "It’s some buzz you know! We come in 2-0 down with a sloppy goal at the end of the half, but we come out second half and showed a bit of character. The man getting sent off is a massive game changer and it’s a massive three points.

"We got in some great positions in the first half and maybe taken a goal before they got their first, but that sums up our season. We created a few chances then they counter and score. I don’t know I was on the other side. It seemed like our goalie got there first but they’re both running at pace. If it goes against us it’s probably harsh, but we’ll take it."
The red card gave Leeds a new found impetus but had to wait until late on injury time for Ayling to break the deadlock. He added: "As soon as the red card happened it gave us a boost, we got the first and then the second. After the second we went a bit flat and went long too quickly, but then obviously got the third in the end.
"I just got my head over it and smashed it as hard as I could! I tried to do the Robbie Keane celebration but didn’t land the cartwheel so I’ll have to work on that!"
It wasn't plain sailing for Jesse Marsch's side, who were forced into four substitutions with Patrick Bamford, Mateusz Klich, Illan Meslier and Diego Llorente all forced off the field of play. Speaking about Bamford in particular, Ayling said: "He’s worked so hard to get back and it’s been such a frustrating season for him.
"Coming off the back of last season, scoring all those goals then coming into this season and getting injured early on. The boys are gutted for him, but he’ll be working hard to get back. I spoke to him briefly at half-time and he seemed not too down. He’s had a problem with his foot over the last few weeks, but I think it’s just a bit sore."
Leeds know that Premier League survival is in their own hands but face a tough task, taking on four top half sides in their remaining eight fixtures. Nonetheless, Ayling is keen to use the win at Wolves as a platform going forward.
He said: "It’s huge for us to put a bit of daylight between us and relegation but teams have games in hand so we need to see what happens with them games and try to keep building on these set of results. We’ve been playing well since the new gaffer came in, so we’ve got to keep building and picking up points."
