Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic's impressive streak of seven consecutive triple-doubles came to an end on Wednesday as he was forced to exit the game against the Golden State Warriors early due to left hamstring soreness. Doncic put up 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists before leaving the game with 6:46 remaining. The Mavericks later confirmed that he would not be returning to the court.
Doncic's streak of triple-doubles is now tied for the third-longest in NBA history, behind Russell Westbrook's 11 straight and Wilt Chamberlain's seven. Throughout this streak, Doncic managed to set NBA records for the most consecutive triple-doubles with at least 35 points (five) and 30 points (six).
The Mavericks, who are currently on a four-game winning streak, are scheduled to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in a back-to-back game on Thursday night. Mavericks coach Jason Kidd mentioned that the team will provide an update on Doncic's availability for the upcoming game on Thursday.
