Luis Suarez misses awful penalty but former Liverpool striker redeems himself

Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez missed a penalty for Gremio before following up with an unfortunate miss-kick.

The ex-Reds striker spent three-and-a-half years at Anfield from 2011-14, during which time he scored 82 goals in 133 appearances. He left Liverpool to join Barcelona in a £75 million deal.

Since leaving Merseyside, Suarez’s career has taken him from Barcelona to Atletico Madrid and Uruguayan club Nacional. Now the 36-year-old is in Brazil with Gremio.
