Lucy Mecklenburgh stuns in summery dress and heels at races, weeks after giving birth

Former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh looked radiant in a floral dress and heels during a day out at the races, two month after giving birth to a baby girl.

The 30-year-old reality TV personality welcomed her second child with soap actor Ryan Thomas, 38, at the end of May, and the pair were looking smart at the Newmarket Racecourse July Festival today.

There was even a mini Towie reunion as Lucy laughed and watched the races with ex cast member Lydia Bright, 31.

Lucy wore a pink, purple and white long dress with an an orange floral design, and a colour-coordinated headband.

She accessorised her gorgeous dress with red heels, as well as a pink handbag.

Ryan, who posed next to his wife, donned a pale grey suit and grey loafers, with a black, white and blue patterned shirt.

Lydia, who excitedly watched the races at Ladies Day with the pair, looked chic in a form fitting pale blue dress with puffed sleeves, decorated with small red flowers. She paired the dress with a straw hat and white sunglasses.

The couple's found it "really difficult" to name their baby girl, before deciding on the name Lilah Rae, Lucy has previously admitted.

On her Instagram Stories earlier this month, the star revealed the name her partner wanted, before they made their final decision.

Lucy was asked by one of her followers why the couple chose Lilah as it is "really unusual".

The fitness guru responded: "It's been on my very long list for ages.

"Ryan loved Delilah. We had a few names we tried but this one stuck! I also love the meaning."

The couple originally had a list of 15 possibilities but wanted to wait until they met their little girl to see what suited her.

Lilah is of Arabic and Hebrew origin, meaning "delicate" and "night beauty."

Lucy, whose son Roman is two, previously opened up about the birth of her second child, telling fans that it was "really positive and calm." She also described it as "so special."

She said: "It was quite quick and so special. I was in for 5 days after I had Roman so to get out in 6 hours felt sooo surreal!"

Lucy went on to thank the NHS and her midwife for "looking after me and getting my baby here safely."

She said it can be heard juggling two young children, writing: "Feels a bit like a military operation sometimes but me & Ryan just work as a team.

"I'm breastfeeding, changing etc baby girl and Ryan's changing, bathing, feeding & playing with Roman."

During her pregnancy, Lucy revealed that she thought she would be having a girl, as well as knowing she was having a boy when she was pregnant with Roman.

She told HELLO! : "I had an inkling that I was having a girl, but I was a bit more unsure than with Roman.

"With him I just knew – I don't know why but even before we found out, I said: 'I know, one hundred per cent, it's a boy'."
