Lucy Mecklenburgh didn't let the haters get her down over the weekend, as the new mum-of-two celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with a cute street party with her loved ones.
The former TOWIE star, 30, took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday to share some sweet snaps of herself, her unnamed newborn daughter and son Roman, two, enjoying the festivities, just days after the reality TV star was subjected to unsolicited comments about her parenting skills.
Continuing to ignore the comments on Instagram - which saw her criticised her for kissing her daughter on the lips - Lucy shared a series of snaps of herself marking 70 years of the Queen on the throne with her two young children.
In one of the sweet images, the brunette beauty snuggled up to her baby daughter, who she has admitted she and partner Ryan Thomas have been struggled to name.
Another cute snap showed her son Roman, who she also shares with the former Coronation Street star, dressed in blue shorts and a blue-striped jumper in keeping with the patriotic theme.
As she sat amongst her neighbours in Essex, enjoying a variety of party-food on the street, Lucy seemed blissfully unbothered by the mummy-shaming comments she received earlier in the week.
The Essex native received some criticism from fans on Instagram, when she shared a snap of herself kissing her newborn baby on the lips.
Some took the opportunity to remind the star that pecking a newborn on the lips can be dangerous, if the adult has cold sores or herpes.
"Please don't kiss your baby on the lips," one fan pleaded with Lucy in the comments underneath her upload, with her fans hitting back at the advice.
Please don't tell a mum what to do with her baby," one quipped back, with another adding: "Her baby so mind your own Karen."
On Sunday, Lucy admitted to her Instagram followers during a Q&A that she and Ryan are "finding it really difficult" to name their daughter, almost a week on from announcing her birth.
The mum-of-two also gave her fans some insight into how labour went down with her second child, describing the experience as "really positive and calm".
"It was quite quick and so special," Lucy explained on her Instagram Stories. "I was in for 5 days when I have Roman so to get out in 6 hours felt sooooo surreal!"
Lucy's first experience of motherhood came just weeks before the first ever lockdown began in the U.K, giving birth to son Roman on 7 March 2020.
Roman was the first child together for the star and actor Ryan, who also shares a 13-year-old daughter with Corrie star Tina O'Brien.
Ryan and Lucy got engaged in 2019, after the Jason Grimshaw actor popped the question during a picturesque holiday in Italy.
