Lucy Fallon has shared a look at her 'first day' back at work just two weeks after giving birth to her baby boy. The former Coronation Street star welcomed her first child, a baby boy, into the world last month. with her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson.
The couple, who announced they were expecting when Lucy was five months pregnant in September, confirmed their newborn's birth earlier this month alongside a snap of themselves as beaming new parents with their son, whose name is yet to be revealed.
Since then, Lucy has been sharing little bits and pieces about her journey in motherhood and on Monday, the actress, who hails from Blackpool, has returned to her social media to tell her hundreds of thousands of followers that she had returned to work - but just for one day.
Sharing a selfie where she can be seen dressed in a black t-shirt with her black-rimmed glasses on, she wrotetyped on her Instagram Story: "A one off 'back to work day' today," before tagging stylist Ryan Kay and her make up artist Kimberley.
She then shared a follow-up post, sharing an adorable photo of herself cradling her newborn. The little boy's face couldn't be seen but as he rested on his mum's chest, fans could see him sporting a white baby grown with wings on the back. "And happy 2 weeks to our sunshine boy," she wrote alongside the snap.
Announcing her son's arrival earlier this month, Lucy, who played Bethany Platt in Corrie from 2015 to 2022, posted a sweet black and white image of herself and Ryan as she cradled their precious bundle of joy. "Our beautiful boy," she captioned the photo as she shared that he was welcomed into the world on January 30.
She was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages with her former soap co-stars leading the gushing messages. And a day later, Lucy returned to Instagram as she posed a short video of her baby boy on her Instagram Story. The little one, whose face was hidden, could be seen wriggling around in a brand new baby grow.
But the new mum revealed all her first child's clothes are "too big", as she wrote: "Everything is too big," with a crying face emoji. She added: "Also that hiccup x," as fans could hear their newborn letting out a cute noise in the first clip of her newborn.
