Lucy Fallon has said that she misses her former co-star Tina O'Brien after a throwback photo from the set of Coronation Street was shared by the latter this week.
Tina, 39 - who has played Sarah Barlow on the popular ITV soap since 1999 - took to Instagram yesterday to tease that she was filming a scene for an upcoming episode.
She revealed that she was working in an interior set in Greater Manchester which acts as the flat shared by Sarah and her husband Adam Barlow (played by Sam Robertson ).
The actor shared a glimpse of a shelf within the flat that had been decorated with some photos, which act as photos from her character's life in the fictional Weatherfield.
This included a photo from a few years ago that depicts Sarah and her daughter Bethany Platt - who was played by Tina's former co-star Lucy, 27, from 2015 until 2020.
The former colleagues were seen posing alongside each other in the throwback photo, which set designers had put into a frame in the interior location for the ITV show.
Another photo on the set showed Tina holding a baby, who may have been one of the three previous actors who portrayed Bethany following the character's birth in 2000.
Alongside her photo, Tina wrote in the caption of her post: "Working today in Sarah and Adam's flat surrounded by lovely little memories". She tagged Lucy in the post.
Lucy - who had been the fourth actor to play Bethany when she took over the role almost a decade ago - shared the post on her Instagram Story, writing: "Miss you so much". She included a series of crying emojis in her caption.
The former colleagues have reunited since Lucy's departure from Coronation Street three years ago, including whilst both at a fashion event in Manchester just last summer.
Following her departure from the show, Lucy has featured in projects like ITV reality series Don't Rock the Boat and she's in the cast of the broadcaster's new miniseries Tom Jones.
Lucy plays the character Molly in the four-part series, which launched on ITVX this week. The show is an adaptation of Henry Fielding's novel, which was published in 1749.
