Lucy Fallon looks loved-up with her footballer beau at the Pride of Manchester Awards as she channels Hollywood glamour

Lucy Fallon channelled Hollywood glamour as she proudly stepped out for the Pride of Manchester Awards with her man. The former Coronation Street actress dazzled in a silky red dress with black heels as she walked the red carpet.

Lucy, 26, wore her blonde hair in pretty waves and added a mocha lip gloss to complete the look. She was joined at the special event to celebrate Manchester's heroes with her boyfriend Preston North End footballer Ryan Ledson who looked dapper in a grey jacket with black trousers and black tie.

The smitten pair posed for a selfie together at the awards, which Lucy shared on her Instagram. And the couple were the picture of happiness as they beamed for the camera.

Lucy, who played Bethany Platt in Corrie from 2015 to 2020, went public with midfielder Ryan in May last year. The couple reportedly met through fellow Coronation Street favourite Helen Flanagan's footballer fiance Scott Sinclair who has just announced his departure from the club.

In February she was all smiles as she celebrated her first Valentine's Day with Ryan at Manchester's The Ivy restaurant. Sharing a photo from their romantic night out she wrote: "Thank you for always singing 'All Too Well - Taylor Swift' with me in the car val day babe everyday x"

Lucy shared another snap on her Instagram Stories of the couple sharing an embrace as she said 'besties forever' with love hearts. In March she paid tribute to her man as she shared a selfie and wrote: "A tough couple’a weeks but lucky 2 have u x"

During her time on the soap, her character Bethany was at the centre of a hard-hitting and highly acclaimed storyline that saw her teen character groomed by tanning shop boss Nathan Curtis. The character left for a writing job in London following a romance with widower Daniel Osbourne who proposed to her on the rebound following the death of his beloved wife Sinead who died after battling cervical cancer.

Our city’s finest have flocked to the Kimpton for a celebration of Manchester’s unsung heroes. The Manchester Evening News Pride of Manchester awards, in partnership with TSB, honours Mancunians with incredible stories to tell.

This year’s winners include courageous kids, amazing fundraisers, and awe-inspiring police officers - all of whom make Manchester the place it is today

Katie's former soap star colleagues Lucy Fallon and Julia Goulding also took to the red carpet for the event. And fellow guests include Spice Girl Mel B, radio presenters Fleur East and Jsky and Hollyoaks favourites Nikki Sanderson and Jorgie Porter. The M.E.N. Pride of Manchester Awards, in partnership with TSB, will premiere on YouTube on Tuesday May 17 at 7pm.
