A lucky punter is half a milion euro richer tonight after scooping the EuroMillions Plus top prize.
The ticketholder matched the winning numbers 16, 27, 30, 31 and 46 to gain €500,000.
There was one winner of the Plus top prize and the winning ticket was sold in Sligo, Lotto bosses said.
Meanwhile, there was one winner of the EuroMillions main jackpot of €130m.
The winning ticket was sold in the UK.
Overall, 75,000 players won prizes in Ireland.
