A lucky punter in Kildare has won a fantastic €80,000 in the Irish Lotto, and they didn't even have a ticket.
The person, who decided to remain anonymous, guessed four numbers to be called in the Saturday night draw on Boyle Sports with just a €2 bet and was counting their lucky stars at 8:00 pm last night when each number was announced. They chose the numbers 23, 24, 26 and 27 and only needed two of them to come out to bag themselves a profit.
But things got even better than that as all four rolled out and triggered payouts on a total of 11 bets, including one which overcame odds of 33,000/1 for all four numbers.
