LUCKNOW: Slow loris, which were brought to Lucknow Zoo from Nagaland during an animal exchange programme back in March and were kept in quarantine to get them adaptive to the environment, are now provided enclosures near the duck pond in the zoo.
According to zoo director Ashok Kumar, “The size of the male loris differs between 18 to 27 cms while the female loris differs between 15 to 25 cms.
The inmates can survive for about 20 years in the forest and for 24 years in a zoo.”
