Lucknow airport to give flyers more facilities

LUCKNOW: Passengers arriving at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport will no longer have to look for trolleys to carry their baggage.

In a fresh initiative, customer service executives (CSEs) will now ensure that trolleys are placed around the baggage belt of the arrival hall of Terminal 2 before arrival of each flight at Lucknow Airport.

CCSI Airport spokesperson said, “Earlier, passengers arriving at the arrival hall had to get the trolleys on their own. But, from now onwards, they will not have to do it.”

“As part of the new initiative, the CSEs will place the trolleys at a certain distance around the conveyor belt even before passengers arrive at the arrival hall. The arrangement will be repeated before every arriving flight,” he said.

CCSI Airport has three conveyor belts for delivery of luggage by the airlines in the arrival hall.

The spokesperson added, “A dedicated team has been deployed for placement of the trolleys while another team is tasked with collecting the vacated trolleys and bringing them back to the arrival hall.”
