Luck runs out for Steelers in 13-10 loss to Browns

When your entire philosophy is centered around starting slow and hoping and praying to finish strong, it is inevitable that you are going to lose games you should win. This was one of those weeks for the Pittsburgh Steelers as they fell to 6-4 thanks to a tough loss to the Cleveland Browns.

On offense it was the same old story but with a different ending. Quarterback Kenny Pickett looked off for the entire game rather than just the first three quarters. Pickett finished with only 108 passing yards and in the final drives had no fourth-quarter magic.

Defensively, the team held up well as long as the Browns gave them very little to defend. But when the Browns needed rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson to step up on the game-winning drive and throw the football, he had little trouble working it downfield for the game-winning field goal.

Now the Steelers find themselves in third place in the AFC North and the odds to make the playoffs now are much worse. But there’s no time to worry as a road trip to take on the Cincinnati Bengals as they work to salvage the season.
