Lowest in 40 years: Govt approves reduction of EPF interest rate to 8.1% for FY22

NEW DELHI: The government on Friday approved lowering interest rate on employees' provident fund (EPF) to 40 year low of 8.1 per cent for financial year 2021-22.

With today's reduction, the EPF interest rate is lowest since 1977-78, when it stood at 8 per cent.
