Tributes have been paid to a 'lovely' gran who was brutally mauled to death by a pack of dogs in her own home. Ann Dunn, 65, whose family bred XL Bulldogs, was pronounced dead by police at roughly 4pm on Monday.
Officers attended the address in Vauxhall, Liverpool after neighbours reported hearing a woman screaming inside the property. Five American bulldogs were later seized by Merseyside police and humanely destroyed, the Mirror reports.
One neighbour described Ann, who worked as a cleaner, as the “loveliest person”. The resident, who did not wish to be identified said: “She was lovely, really funny, such a happy girl. She had not long ago been on holiday with her daughter.
